Is it the RSV shot that is just antibodies (not a vaccine)? This is what we got- it doesn’t trigger an immune response like the other 2mo vaccines so we had no reaction whatsoever to the RSV one

RSV Vaccine for 10 day old infant
Hello, just FYI, it’s not even a vaccine, it’s antibodies directly injected into the baby. It’s literally a miracle of science that existed under the name Synagis for very high risk babies already, and is now available to a wider patient base under the name Beyfortus. I would 100% get this for my newborn son, however I had the maternal RSV shot (Abrysvo, an actual vaccine) making him ineligible. If you have a newborn right now, they are susceptible to the peak of RSV season.

I don't understand people who are not actively pro-vaccine.
We eradicated small pox, based on learning how innoculation worked in 1796. For 228 years we've had an understanding of how the science works, we've eradicated a few diseases and helped to reduce the risk of countless others.
Some uneducated, ignorant or willfully harmful conspiracy theorists in the 20th century don't suddenly know better than 200 years of science. Your anecdotal experience doesn't mean anything either.
The science is sound. It has been for generations. Protect your child. Protect other people's children if they are going to be dumb enough not to. It's not any child's fault.

Little dude got the RSV shot last week.
