Inspired Action
Inspired Action
You won’t know it was inspired action until afterwards. Let’s say you are manifesting your dream job. One day you feel like you should stop at a particular store, so you do. While there you start talking to someone and find out they are a direct link to that dream job. So, you did take action (going to the store), but you had no idea that a trip to that store would bring you to the dream job. This would be a part of the bridge of events.

‘Move & Attack’ vs ‘2 Actions’ in D20 inspired games
By making movement an action you have to have access too every turn, the system encourages more movement - generally seen as a good thing as it makes combat more dynamic. If you just say take any two actions, just attacking twice or casting two spells or something will almost always be the optimal answer. Even if you cap attacks, movement will almost never be used in a fight after the melee guys are all next to each other, and ranged PCs will almost never move because theyd be sacraficing a critical action for something that wouldn't carry much return. Since you have to have a movement only action in most games, you might as well use it to move around
This is a reason to put in mroe things like that, a defend-only action, or a support-other-PC-only action, that everyone has access to every round, whether they asked for it or not. Naturally, you'll see more defensive moves or supportive moves when its kind of "for-free" / theres no reason not to do them
