As others have pointed out, for all their efforts the "Rooftop Koreans" failed to protect much of anything and ultimately only succeeded in killing two innocent people, including another Korean store owner.

And that vein of Americanism is ... how come “Rooftop Korean” is the poster child of immigrants that have come to the United States who demonstrate true American ideals and values....
