Why don't diet sodas use Stevia and Erythritol?
Stevia has more often than not given me an instant headache. I wonder if it's a common effect. Coke life is 90cal and uses part cane sugar, part stevia. It actually tastes quite good but half the time it gives me a killer migraine. More on reddit.com

r/keto on Reddit: Any no-sugar cola soft drinks sweetened with erythritol?
April 17, 2020 -

So I like the taste of erythritol, and it seems like that cooling sensation it gives would be ideal for soft drinks. But I can't seem to find any that use it. All 0 sugar drinks seem to use acesulfame potassium, aspartame, or sucralose. I would love to find something that tastes just like Pepsi but with erythritol instead of sugar.

So does anyone know of any brand of cola type soft drink that just uses erythritol as its sweetener?

May 21, 2023 - It’s zero sugar, not zero sweetener. I’m not going to pretend to know that the sweeteners that they use are better or worse than sugar. I do know that sugar has been part of our diet for a long time. And or bodies actually need it in moderation. For that reason I’d say a regular coke is “better” for you, but definitely bad for you if you drink them regularly.
