Chemists' Perspective on Natural Medicine?
Yes obviously, many medicines have natural origin. Reproducible dosing, etc. Your also getting a cocktail of compounds when you might only want one. Are there any other individuals here who utilize plant medicine alongside practicing presence?
I love this question. herbs can help correct physical, mental and emotional disbalance. Ayurveda which originates from the ancient vedas (and a lot of Tolle’s teaching is based on the Indians philosophies) uses herbal medicine in combination with life style change and diet change to cure diseases for which western medicine often has no answer, like for the chronic auto immune disorders. An example of mind and emotion balancing herb is Brahmi. Ashwaganda can also bring calmness in the mind and raise the energy levels of the body. I personally believe that herbs can help to awaken the consciousness in us. More on reddit.com
