I’m in planting zone 8 in NC. I grow impatiens from seeds and leave plants outdoors in containers all year round under pine trees. They bloom continuously in the summer and fall, overflowing all of their containers. https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/impatiens-hawkeri/
