Crazy that NVIDIA still hasn't fixed this, it happened with previous redemptions like Doom Dark Ages too. This fix didn't work for me and I ultimately forgot what I did to fix it, but I tried dozens of things.

I just went through this myself and ran into some trouble, so here’s how it worked for me: First you need to log in at your retailer (in my case Mindfactory) and request the code under My Orders. The actual game code came by email the next day. Then install the NVIDIA App (yes, even if you don’t want to keep it – I uninstalled it right after). When trying to redeem the code, I always got the error that my hardware was not eligible – both in the NVIDIA App and on the official redeem page. After lots of trial and error (clean install of drivers, trying hotspot, etc.), what finally fixed it was disabling IPv6 on my Wi-Fi adapter. Once I reconnected, the redemption suddenly worked.
