• May 11, 2021I am not sure why mine got changed. Previously, my requests are queried in Malaysia and Singapore, Technically Asia servers. But now, I am always receiving queries with dnsleaktest from Oslo, Norway which is very far. slowdowns in queries are noticeable when for example loading reddit.

• February 5, 2024We add locations based on actionable reports, which can be posted here: https://feedback.controld.com/ An actionable report includes the following data: https://docs.controld.com/docs/high-latency-slow-speeds (be sure to mask your Resolver ID). For extra bonus points, provide multiple traceroutes to other DNS providers so we have a base of comparison. When we see multiple reports where a new server location can help, we action those first. In the short term, we're adding additional locations in Europe (Scanadevia, and eastern Europe). More on reddit.com
