Gavin Newsom reveals he and his WIFE are under DOJ investigation as he tells her 'I love you and I'm sorry' while launching blistering attack on Trump | Daily Mail Online
3 weeks ago - California Governor Gavin Newsom revealed that he is the latest to land on President Donald Trump's political 'hit list.' The 58-year-old announced on social media that he and his wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, 51, are the subjects of a Department of Justice investigation. 'Today, my wife & I joined Donald Trump’s hit list,' the Democrat posted. 'He has directed his Department of Justice to investigate us. They have not found a crime - they are simply trying to find one.' 'He isn't coming after me because of mean tweets, but because I am considering running for president.' Newsom released a nearly five-minute video explaining that he is being targeted because he is considering running for president in 2028. The Democrat, who claimed in the video that he has nothing to hide, did not explain what the DOJ was probing. The White House referred the Daily Mail's request for comment to the DOJ.

Gavin Newsom makes surprise visit to SF's Tenderloin to talk fentanyl
Mr. Newsom, who has told everyone to call him "Gavin", shows up in a T-Shirt and jeans. He's adorned by a pooka shell necklace, with 4 festival bracelets from the past season on his wrists. He turns the cafeteria chair backwards and sits down: "Now I know a lot of you have heard that fentanyl is 'hella cool' and that 'everyone is doing it'..." More on reddit.com

Finally. It's a little ridiculous that 20 dealers can just hang out on one block in SF 24/7 with no consequences. At the market on Van Ness by Eddy, there are tons of families and seniors that live there too.

It's only the summer of 2026, but Gavin Newsom is among a band of Democrats thinking about 2028. Newsom, the second term California governor who has emerged as one of President Donald Trump's most outspoken political foes, has acknowledged he's considering a presidential run. He told CBS News last year he'd be 'lying' if he suggested otherwise. Most recently, however, Newsom made headlines after he shared the news that he and his wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, are being investigated by the Justice Department.

What is Gavin Newsom doing? - by Nate Silver
2 weeks ago - He’s perhaps also the best-known Democrat who isn’t Harris or 80+ years old (Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders). But this comes at a time when that establishment is highly unpopular, including with Democratic voters. Last year, Newsom made a few conspicuous moves toward a more “heterodox”, centrist side by inviting people like Charlie Kirk on his podcast and shifting to the right on transgender athletes. And in January, he announced his opposition to California’s proposed wealth tax that might appear on this November’s ballot. These moves, although not necessarily popular with Democratic primary voters, might suggest a candidate trying to break out of the establishment box. But Newsom’s strategy has been a little contradictory. Who was one of his most recent podcast guests? Hunter Biden, the pardoned son of the former president. Indeed, as Axios notes, Newsom has made a show of embracing Biden and his legacy — somewhat ironically given that Newsom essentially ran a shadow campaign against Bide

San Francisco Mayor Seeks Help for Alcohol Abuse : NPR
February 6, 2007 - Mr. GOODYEAR: I think this is a scandal that, you know, the Newsom team is trying very hard to weather, but they are being sort of buffeted by - from all sides. And, you know, I think it's been very hard to sort of keep up with what the mayor is trying to do personally to stem the damage here. And, you know, everyday is sort of a new and wild ride for all of us. BRAND: Well, also, you have to wonder about rehab in general. A lot of political figures lately have been going into rehab, and it seems to be the thing to do to repair your reputation. Mr. GOODYEAR: Right, and I think that might have been one reason why the mayor just didn't want to tackle that subject when he admitted to having this affair last week. I think some people would've viewed it cynically as a way to dig himself out of this hole. That was certainly the reaction when he finally announced he is going into rehab yesterday.

The Picture of Gavin Newsom - A former S.F. mayor, now lieutenant governor of California
Nuru is a former executive director of the San Francisco League of Urban Gardeners, the nonprofit that occupied the Hunters Point warehouse and employed the crew. SLUG was started by environmentalists in the 1980's to promote community gardens in the city. However, in the 1990's the organization morphed into more of a contract service agency, one financed largely by local government agencies. In sworn testimony, the workers also said their immediate supervisors threatened them with the loss of pay if they didn't attend Newsom campaign appearances, cast absentee ballots, walk precincts on election day, and help post campaign signs around town. These were undoubtedly serious allegations, leading City Attorney Dennis Herrera to launch an inquiry.Yet both Nuru and Newsom were cleared of any wrongdoing. In fact, the only casualties of this episode turned out to be the workers themselves.
