Honestly the only time I've experienced weird unexplained stuff is at my grandma's house, which is a non-descript bungalow in Portage Park.
I've heard plenty of weird noises and phantom toilet flushes, and more than a few family members have claimed to see things.
When I was a kid I asked my grandma if her house was haunted and she (being a very catholic woman) just responded "don't worry dear, those are just angels." Which didn't exactly make me feel better lol.

Does anyone know anything about zoos being haunted? I work at a notoriously haunted zoo as it is 150 years old and was built over a graveyard. However, I was wondering if animals ever haunt zoos? I’ve only heard of a few animal apparitions being seen here.

While our tours do not contain anything too graphic or inappropriate, we find that kids that enjoy history have the best time. You know your children and that's left up to you. We do not recommend bringing children in strollers because sometimes that can be difficult with larger walking groups.
