The best web hosting providers: IONOS : Best overall value. Starting at $1/month and requires only 1 year commitment. Established hosting provider with fast servers and great support. Best intro prices and deals if you're in the US. Bluehost : Best for WordPress. Plans are affordable, starting at $2/month. Solid performance, uptime, and customer support. Intuitive and modern dashboard. Also officially recommended by WordPress. Hostinger: Best for performance. However, it's considerably overpriced. The cheapest plan costs $4/month and requires paying 4 years upfront, with no refunds. Not a great deal in my opinion. DreamHost: Best for beginners. Plans are affordable, although network is limited and performance is average at best. Support is generally decent, but response times can be somewhat inconsistent. As someone who's been making websites for over 20 years, I'd say basic web hosting is enough 90% of the time. You don't need the fastest and most expensive hosting, because you'd be paying a lot more to save a few milliseconds load time which won't be registered by the human brain anyway. IONOS US website if you're in the United States. Bluehost WP hosting if you're using WordPress. Update: they've got promotional prices right now, good time to try it out if you're looking for hosting. These providers are generally fast, reliable, and have decent support, especially considering the pricing. More on reddit.com

($2/month) And bluehost shittiness is so well known that any research will give you the answers you want, so I'd say you just haven't done your research. More on reddit.com

I haven’t touched cPanel in years and am fortunate of that. I prefer lightweight server control panels like RunCloud, ServerPilot or CloudPanel. cPanel just feels so ancient. More on reddit.com
