Does UPF clothing really work?
I am very pale and burn easily, I wear sun shirts hiking with no sunscreen under and have never gotten burnt. This includes long hot days when I'm needing to reapply sunscreen to my neck and hands, will still have no color under the shirt. The question more for me is how much more protective a UPF rated shirt is compared to a non rated similar synthetic fabric. More on reddit.com
