3 Arab Israelis Excelling in Business Despite Hardships of War - The Media Line
November 20, 2024 - After earning a PhD in computer science in Israel and working for companies such as Google, IBM, and Intel, Abbasi returned from Haifa to his hometown with his wife but found it impossible to order delivery there. This experience sparked the idea for HAAT Delivery, a free delivery app offering services in Arabic, English, and Hebrew.

Israel's Arabic-language military spokesperson has gone viral, inspiring fear and fascination
1 month ago - Israel’s Arabic-language military spokesman has been the animated face of its campaigns and the main source of warnings ahead of strikes and major offensives. That has made him one of the most recognizable Israelis in the Arab world — a focus of fury as well as some fascination. In social media videos shared to his 2.5 million followers across platforms, the colonel appears in military fatigues, gesticulating as he delivers official statements and mocks Israel’s enemies, often using satire or pop culture references, all in fluent Arabic. In the wars sparked by Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, attack, his social media accounts have carried warnings for civilians to leave — sometimes at a moment’s notice — areas shaded in red on maps of Gaza and Lebanon. Millions have paid heed, with hundreds of thousands seeking refuge in squalid tent camps. Adraee, who is retiring this year, takes pride in his work.

Asking IsraelI Arabs "do you support Israel?"
Every Arab citizen who views himself as Israeli is my brother. Those who don't, that's fine. They can leave and join other places if they wish so. Just like Jews make aliya to Israel. More on reddit.com

I want to hear from Arab Israelis
Sorry to disappoint you but you wont find many arab-israeli on reddit. We are mostly on tiktok, insta and snap. However i will be glad to answer. And by the way… transparency and honesty is my priority. I personally come from an 100% arab town, so in my day to day as a teenager i didn’t interact with any jewish or could have had a chat with them except once or twice a year where we visit a jew high school, eat, talk and then leave. Can I practice my religion freely? Yes. There is even a mosque room in most hospitals, airports, and knesset. Can i speek arabic freely in public? Yes i can but sometimes you will have this guy staring at you. But overall no danger in speaking in arabic. The issue with jewish is that you can’t trust them. I mean you could be besties, talk every day, get out a lot, but if you disagree with them on major concepts, they will just leave you. Or for example in the events of 7th of october, i jew friend of mine said death to arabs which i am an arab. He apologised but still its not cool. Do i get free education? High quality medical care? Can i travel and move around freely? Can i start a business and make income? Yes! But one main issue is how police mistreat arabs and the high number of deaths that no one seem to be interested to stop it. The generation, arab and jews, tend to have less hate and more open to other culture. It is as if they feel tired of the whole conflict and just want to end it. Many arabs work, learn, eat, and sometimes marry jews and the other way around. I’m i satisfied? No. But its not due to anything relating to the conflict. Its just the country is not the best to live in since its too expensive. Open for any questions. Please note that this is my personal experience and other arabs might have different, more intense experience. More on reddit.com

Meet Five of the Richest Israeli Arab Families - Israel News
November 4, 2022 - No one from the Arab community made TheMarker Magazine’s 2022 list of Israel’s 500 wealthiest people. Nor is that unusual: Very few Arab businesspeople appeared in similar lists in recent years, and the few that did usually appeared only near the end of the list.

Why the Arab League could not stop Israel’s genocide | Arab League | Al Jazeera
1 week ago - Since the 1950s, Arab states have found themselves permanently under the gaze, if not the security and fiscal wings, of non-Arab powers such as the US, the United Kingdom, France and Russia, and, closer to home in recent decades, Iran, Israel and Turkiye. The US in particular has expanded its web of connections among Israeli, American and Arab parties in essential sectors such as water, food, energy, transportation networks, financial aid, debt management, environmental protection, technology and military security. Much of this happens indirectly, through institutions such as the World Bank, the United Nations, NATO, the International Monetary Fund, or the vast US commercial banking and payments networks that enable the devastating sanctions the US liberally imposes on those who dare to challenge it or Israel. Any Arab state that actively confronts the US-Israel axis, rather than merely denouncing Trump in the media, would risk triggering punitive measures such as sanctions and militar

Set your sights nearer: Forum urges Israel entrepreneurs to market to Arab world | The Times of Israel
January 24, 2017 - Seeking to change this trend, two MBA students at the Tel Aviv University on Sunday launched the Middle East Business Forum, with the stated goal of “raising awareness and facilitating networking,” allowing businessmen trained in Israel to seek opportunities in neighboring countries. The launch event for the forum, which took place at the university with the help of the Whitman Family Center for Coexistence, was attended by around 50 students and faculty members. The highlight of the event was a talk by Yadin Kaufmann, an American immigrant to Israel who in 2011 co-founded Sadara (Arabic for “forefront”), the first venture capital firm to target Palestinian tech startups.
