Apparently this is going around some parts of social media so that people can claim Israel wants to take over everything, blah blah, Protocols of the Elders of Zion, blah blah blah.

My personal theory was that it's real and it's an old patch design from the 1970s. However, now that I'm saying that, I realize I have no idea what areas this map really covers... Just looked and nope, it's definitely the Nile to the Euphrates, but with a very hard line cutting across the bottom of the Arabian peninsula? Artistic license there, maybe?

The motto next to it apparently says, "The land of Israel is safe." So now my guesses are:

1. It's photoshopped

2. It's a badge you can get elsewhere

3. It's a real IDF badge that uses the Biblical territory of Israel to represent the People Of Israel, rather than meaning "we wanna expand and take all of this land over!"
