October 25, 2021 - Is there a way to set it to only mine and not use the coil? I'm fine waiting longer for the room to warm up, I don't want to waste electricity on non-mining. ... It took me a minute to learn how to turn on the heat but I assumed turning it on would also turn on mining. I see a hash rate but the app claims my mining is off. Am I missing something? ... I just received my Heatbit and reached out to support but I can’t seem to actually select the heating function.

This setup has a 4 S19 unit tank(built in-house) which has been installed in place of the former pool heater. We use BitCool for the oil. The oil meets the water through a heat exchanger under the immersion tank. Pool stays around 85 degrees. This system has been running for over 18 months without any hiccups.

Mine enough to the old one so that you don't abandon a balance (set payout high, hit minimum payout, stop mining and wait a day or two for payouts to settle, then set payout level below balance so it pays out all) After you stop mining at the old pool (during the settle time) configure the new pool by changing the URL and possibly changing the format of the user/pass to fit the new pool.

It's practically a scam. A Heatbit heater has a used Antminer S9 inside of it. They also use a different fan to make it quieter. You can buy a used Antminer S9 for under $100. The only difference is that a Heatbit is quieter than an Antminer S9. But you can also modify an S9 to be quieter.

As a bitcoin miner, it's a lousy miner. As a heater, it's a lousy heater. Buy an efficient electric heater, and then take your monthly electricity savings to buy bitcoin.

I am redesigning my garden and will add a pool. I also own a mining facility (not at my home) and thought why not use mining heat to warm up my pool..
I thought about a underground room (like a pool tech room) where i keep some asics with in-air vents and out air directly into the pool, simmilar to the bath-tub image i attached.
Does anybody have experience with this ?
The goal would be to heat up quickly in spring and/or keep it warm in winter (i live in europe, so winter is -10 to 5 degree celsius).
And it should be cheaper than heating it with other tech...

It would never raise the temp. I have a pool of 40k gal (most are 25k gal). My heater is 450k btu and takes several hours to heat the pool. So the watts being drawn from the wall we assume are all converted to heat and the conversion factor from Watt to BTU is 3.412141633*Watts. So a 1300W S9 will give you 4435 BTU. So you'll need 100 S9's to replicate the heat a swimming pool heater needs to heat your pool. At least 50 for the min recommendation for a pool.
