July 30, 2023What are the best and the worst railway stations you ever visited?
SVMT Bangalore has to be the worst. Zero thought put into actual utility and only focusing on the exterior. Unlike most other Major stations, it has a very long access road and the auto fellows fleece you just to drop you to the main road. Not to mention the toilets and other amenities are just like other stations and have no noticeable improvement. It looks nice on the outside and that's about it. Something like a railway station or a bus stand should have easy accessibility built into the design and not like some airport where access is difficult via public transport. I'm being critical of it only because it is a brand new one and some of these issues should have been taken care of with it being a new design and everything. The older ones were bad atleast we should strive to make the newer ones nicer. More on reddit.com
