It's totally possible. Removing and resetting the hands without damaging them and the alignment is the trickiest part. Though, I'd bet these movements in your new watches will outlast your interest in continuing wearing them. Otherwise, by the time they do fail, the cost of movement replacement plus the time and labor (yours) it takes to complete the swap, plus the fact your watch case and crystal will have already taken on some damage by this point, will probably just compel you to buy a completely new watch. 3 - 5 years service at $100 for a daily beater is plenty worth it. And I think most will last well beyond that conservative estimate, anyway. The best thing about cheap movements is that they can be replaced cheaply. In the (not terribly common) case of premature failure, then replacement will definitely be a viable option. Ironically, it's the "cheapness" of these shitter movements that can be so reassuring when deciding whether or not to buy. Because, as I said, they can be replaced cheaply.
