December 21, 2018 - I'll add to what others have said. Without seeing your raid config, I'd guess you are looking at a Raid1 mirror on the two 300GB drives. This shows as the 279GB and holds the C: (100GB) and F: (179GB). Then the four 600GB drives are in a Raid10 and show as the 1.09TB and has the D: (1TB).
