July 3, 2015 - I understand that “Other” includes non pooled data on the disk (which I have none of), and stuff such as metadata and “slack space”, but 279GB is quite a high figure, and quite close to the total size of the VHD(X) files on the Drivepool at about 234GB.
December 21, 2018 - I'll add to what others have said. Without seeing your raid config, I'd guess you are looking at a Raid1 mirror on the two 300GB drives. This shows as the 279GB and holds the C: (100GB) and F: (179GB). Then the four 600GB drives are in a Raid10 and show as the 1.09TB and has the D: (1TB).
