Hapkido is kinda unrealistic to ever use in a fight, its more so just pretty, but its basically BJJ that isnt nearly as practical in an actual fight. If you ever found yourself fighting someone who knows zero martial arts youll probably do ok, but BJJ or Muay Thai are way more practical.
Source: Did BJJ for three years and then joined a Hapkido class and did two hours of impractical training (basically was energy flow psuedo-stuff) for a three hour class three times a week for 3 months before I decided I was better off putting my money somewhere else. The facility I went to was a respected school in San Antonio. My two cents :) edited: said same thing twice
