8215’s in a replica (and actually even the Seiko movements) is a new phenomenon. 2813 is a clone of 8215. This leads me to question whether or not shitter rep makers are really putting 8215 movements in there or if they’re just labeling them that way or making a 2813 look more like an 8215. I have no definitive answer to this and wonder if someone else does. My sellers say they’re really 8215’s- but…my sellers at this level aren’t as informed about the insides of these watches as my higher level TD’s. I once asked one if he can get a VSF and he said yes. I asked what’s inside and he said “I don’t know.” So while I haven’t answered your question at all, I figured this would be a good place to ask “Does anyone think they’re really putting 8215’s in these?”
