Fun fact: If Finnish Li Anderson (Left alliance) was a political party of just one person, she alone would have been the third largest party. Left alliance is typically a niche party, but Li's vote landslide made it temporarily the second largest party (from 6.9% to 17.3%) and it's something we've never seen.
Edit: Changed the grammar a bit, hope it's clearer now.

It's way less interesting to showcase who "won the most seats", but the fact that the pro-European parties are still dominant, and not the far-right.
I hope this serves as a catalyst for more pro-European sentiment in the coming days.

Strange that there's no stickied megathread about the EU elections on this subreddit. Mods still asleep?
Anyway, about this (preliminary, poll-based) result: PVV scores big, but the even further right-wing FvD loses big and will disappear from the parliament entirely. Overall balance doesn't seem to shift too much, maybe a slight move towards the right.

Also good to know:

PVV: Not currently part of any EU party, want to join a new yet to form nationalist EU party
-
GL/PvdA: GL is part of the Greens EU party, PvdA is part of the S&D EU party
