N3C is a national resource of real-world data that researchers are using to speed medical research.

Researchers are welcome to request access to the N3C Data Enclave, one of the largest, most secure clinical data resources for accelerating and collaborating on COVID-19 research. Users may also join or start an N3C Domain Team to help coordinate work with others.

The National COVID Cohort Collaborative (N3C) Data Enclave, funded by NCATS of the NIH, is now open to scientists looking for evidence-based answers to COVID-19 research questions.

A Domain Team is where a researcher will attend meetings with clinicians that are in the same clinical domain or expertise. N3C Domain Teams enable researchers with shared interests to analyze data within the N3C Data Enclave and collaborate more efficiently in a team science environment.

The N3C marshals the NCATS-supported resources of CTSA Program hubs and the CD2H to speed research and clinical care efforts at local, regional and national levels. It also leverages an existing framework of collaborative informatics networks and NCATS-supported cloud resources.
