Blasphemy in The Bible can typically mean three things: 1-Claiming to be God (John 10:30-33) 2- Claiming to be able to remove sin - which is why many people dislike the Vatican and the Pope - (Mark 2:4-7) 3- Claiming there is no God 2. When I read the passage I believe we are told what blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is. “Because they said he had an unclean spirit”. So what I take is that blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is saying the works of God are the works of the devil. And that that is an unforgivable sin.
