Ilhan Omar - Wikipedia
15 hours ago - On February 27, 2019, Omar said of her critics: "I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is OK for people to push for allegiance to a foreign country." The statements were quickly criticized as allegedly drawing on antisemitic tropes. House Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Eliot Engel said it was "deeply offensive to call into question the loyalty of fellow American citizens" and asked Omar to retract her statement.

Fact check: Did Ilhan Omar say "World War Eleven" in viral clip?
3 weeks ago - There is no indication Omar was confused about the historical event itself. The comment appears to be a verbal slip, not a substantive error, and was corrected in real time during the same sentence. The viral spread of the clip comes amid heightened online attention on Omar for unrelated reasons, including renewed political claims about whether she could be deported and fresh scrutiny of her household finances. The Justice Department began investigating Omar's finances under the Biden administration. Calls to deport Omar resurfaced after Vice President JD Vance alleged in public remarks that she had committed immigration fraud—an accusation her office has denied. As a matter of U.S. law deportation of a naturalized citizen would require a successful denaturalization process through the courts. ... True. The video clip is real and accurately captures a brief verbal slip in which Omar said “World War Eleven.” However, the viral posts omit the immediate correction she made moments later a

FWI: Ilhan Omar is expelled from Congress, denaturalized, and deported to Somalia under the pretext of her support for Hamas (along with immigration fraud)
The Trump administration claims it has the right to deport non-citizens without due process. Furthermore it claims Ilhan Omar is in fact a non-citizen but refuses to offer any proof due to "diplomatic and national security concerns". Subsequently ICE kidnaps and transfers her to El Salvadorean prison where she joins thousands of other dissident American citizens. More on reddit.com

Did Ilhan Omar marry her brother? Here’s why it’s unproven
We have documentation of her family. She has no siblings who go by the name of her husband. Her mother died two years after she was born, making her the youngest sibling. Her husband was born three years after Omar. Any sibling of Omar would have achieved citizenship status in the exact same way due to their shared childhood in refugee camps. Even if he didn't achieve citizenship, he would have simply applied as her sibling and achieved citizenship. He left the country shortly after marrying her, which begs the question just why he was trying to get citizenship if he abandoned it so easily. You are exactly as intelligent as I expected.
