Con Gamma hai Daijisho, che lo rende facile. Basta prendere una scheda Micro SD e formattarla per exFAT (perché FAT32 non gestisce file superiori a 4 GB) e configurarla con cartelle per ogni sistema che usi dove vanno le ROM, e in Daijisho usa il pulsante +Paths su ogni piattaforma in Daijisho per aggiungere la cartella sulla scheda SD e sincronizzare. Fai questo con il WiFi connesso e Daijisho scaricherà le informazioni sul gioco e le copertine.
Se riesci a gestire l'installazione di GammaOS sul tuo RG405M, le basi come trascinare e rilasciare rom su una scheda SD dovrebbero essere facilissime.

Ti conviene sostituire le schede SD perché sono piuttosto inaffidabili e possono guastarsi facilmente, perdendo i file di salvataggio e potenzialmente le ROM/il sistema operativo nel processo se non hai fatto un backup. Anbernic ha le versioni più aggiornate del sistema operativo sul proprio sito che puoi scaricare su una nuova scheda, utilizzare una personalizzata o semplicemente clonare su una nuova scheda. Tecnicamente puoi scaricare ROM da siti diversi, ma non è consigliato perché alcuni possono avere bug o non funzionare al meglio, ecc. (pensa al livello di rischio di torrent/limewire). Il motivo per cui le persone indirizzano ai thread è dovuto all'affidabilità dei file.
Dipende, per giochi come GBA/GB/DS dovrai prima decomprimere i file (correggimi se sbaglio) e poi aggiungerli. Abbastanza semplice.
Tuttavia, i giochi PS1 sono un po' diversi perché quando li decomprimi, escono due file: .bin e .cue. Entrambi devono essere nella stessa cartella, ma questo crea molto disordine, motivo per cui si consiglia di convertirli in file .CHD. Dovrebbero esserci istruzioni che puoi cercare su come farlo.

Hello, I am very much a beginner in emulating so I am sorry if this is a dumb question. My RG405v is arriving soon, and I would like to put some the roms, and some of my own onto a new SD card. I understand about using a third party application for fat32 to format the SD card.
I suppose the main thing I need clarifying is, the SD card that comes with the console, do I put that into my computer, open it up and drag the files out of the SD card folder and onto my computer. Take that SD card out and insert my new one, format that one, then copy the files onto it? Or do I need to also format the one the 405v comes with?

Im getting a RG35XX and i want to get my microSD card going with some games, but allways its been seperate consoles so i have to download 3 gigs of content 13 times. does anyone have a rom pack to download made for the RG35XX (or for the consoles it supports) ?

All I want to do right now is copy the stock sd card to my new sdcard and use the new card. Don't want to lose all the games if it gets corrupted like most say will eventually happen w the stock sdcards
Hi I’m new to retro emulation and am looking at getting rg35xx. Although I heard the device is great, everyone mentions the sd cards corrupt easily. Basically I want to transfer the roms from the original sd card to a more reliable card in the simplest way possible. And I don’t wanna download my own roms as I’m really bad with computers. I've had this device a few weeks now and it works great for N64 and down. I tried transferring Playstation 1 and Gamecube files from my PC. Normally I can move and play ROMS in zip format, but with these I always get the error "Cannot copy item - The device has either stopped responding or has been unplugged" or similar. I can't move GC .zip files for some reason. I assume it's because they contain an ISO, or maybe a file size limit, but one game I tried to move was quite small in size and still didn't transfer. I tried moving the ISO directly and that doesn't seem to work either.
With PSX games I cannot move them if they're in .zip but the .7z and .rar files transfer onto the device. However, I can't open them. Can I convert .zip to .7z by renaming it or is it more complicated?
I'm guessing I have to convert all these files into another format but I don't know what, or which emulator I should be using for PSX. I am just using the default emulators as they worked fine until now. Duckstation is the PSX one. Do I need to install Retroarch? I don't really understand what that is honestly.

As in the title says, I am new to this and all I want to do is copy the stock os card from my new Rg Cube to a bigger sd card just so I can add a few games that aren’t on there. Problem is Im not sure how to do it properly or if there is anything I need to look out for or be careful with? I just want it moved to a new larger sd card where in the future I can just add games to it when I want. Can anyone help with this? Thanks
