It looks like the cores are there in retroarch but if I connect to Wifi and update/download nothing happens. Game room and RA screen never show that emulation option. Even activating "hidden folders" they still do not show up. What step am I missing here to activate the cores to add my roms? Looked at a dozen how to's but nothing has been helpful.
All I want to do right now is copy the stock sd card to my new sdcard and use the new card. Don't want to lose all the games if it gets corrupted like most say will eventually happen w the stock sdcards
Hi I’m new to retro emulation and am looking at getting rg35xx. Although I heard the device is great, everyone mentions the sd cards corrupt easily. Basically I want to transfer the roms from the original sd card to a more reliable card in the simplest way possible. And I don’t wanna download my own roms as I’m really bad with computers. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
I’m having a difficult time trying to download more NDS games from lategames.net. I downloaded 7Zipper and watched a few videos, but I don’t think I’m doing it correctly. Any links, vids and suggestions are appreciated!
As in the title says, I am new to this and all I want to do is copy the stock os card from my new Rg Cube to a bigger sd card just so I can add a few games that aren’t on there. Problem is Im not sure how to do it properly or if there is anything I need to look out for or be careful with? I just want it moved to a new larger sd card where in the future I can just add games to it when I want. Can anyone help with this? Thanks
I've had this device a few weeks now and it works great for N64 and down. I tried transferring Playstation 1 and Gamecube files from my PC. Normally I can move and play ROMS in zip format, but with these I always get the error "Cannot copy item - The device has either stopped responding or has been unplugged" or similar. I can't move GC .zip files for some reason. I assume it's because they contain an ISO, or maybe a file size limit, but one game I tried to move was quite small in size and still didn't transfer. I tried moving the ISO directly and that doesn't seem to work either.
With PSX games I cannot move them if they're in .zip but the .7z and .rar files transfer onto the device. However, I can't open them. Can I convert .zip to .7z by renaming it or is it more complicated?
I'm guessing I have to convert all these files into another format but I don't know what, or which emulator I should be using for PSX. I am just using the default emulators as they worked fine until now. Duckstation is the PSX one. Do I need to install Retroarch? I don't really understand what that is honestly.
Thanks for the help. These devices are new to me. I've been emulating games on PC for ages but never tried past N64. I'm sorry if this is really basic.
Im getting a RG35XX and i want to get my microSD card going with some games, but allways its been seperate consoles so i have to download 3 gigs of content 13 times. does anyone have a rom pack to download made for the RG35XX (or for the consoles it supports) ?
EDIT: to anyone that stumbles about this reddit page or just types in google the the same question, i found a good site that has a lot of rom packs: https://www.romspack.com/rom-sets/
I just got an anbernic RG353v how do I add games that I want? Thanks for your help
I tried to install some PS1 games but it doesn't work. I downloaded .ecm and .cue but I can't see the game in the PS1 folder. What did I wrong? Can someone help me?
Hello,
i want to buy the RG40XXV with an SD card and use it with the stock OS. Can I simply copy the SD card to a new one? (the one included is pretty bad)
How do I then put ROMS on the SD card?
Is there a folder for this?
I'm a new user of one RG35XX H.
It's very nice, amazing, and this games... nostalgic and i love it!
So, i bought a new sd card to change the original, and update to new stock firmware, but the ROM are gone!
And after some search in the web, i found a lot of packages with roms...
Ok, so i download this: 128 Roms , unfortunately, after transfer to sd card, when i start the RG35XX H, some of the roms does not appear...
So, another search in the web... and it's needed to install some BIOS files...
Right know, i dont know what are the correct BIOS files to put this working!
Someone could help, give some tips, who is the best ROM package and bios files to show all the games?
Thks!
For context: I only use the Anbernic SP, and I only play Pokemon games (and their fangames which I think are all based on GBA).
I had planned to keep all games zipped, but I have found some games that required to be unzipped to be read by the Anbernic. What gives? If I try to open the zipped file it tries to open for 2 sec, and then closes. But if I unzip it, it works like normal.
Second question: How do you add small pictures next to the games in the rom list? Just like the default games have that come on the stock card before reflashing it?
I downloaded “Kirby: The crystal shard” for N64 and put it in the correct folder, opened the game and kirby has grey spots and the enemies are invisible :/
Checked out other copies and they have the same size mb’s and file format so would it matter to switch the game file for another one?
