You're getting married. Seems like a nice guy to me. [Laughter] Congratulations. You've been so great. Thank you very much, Candace. Thanks. And, Charlie, what a job you're doing. Where's Charlie? Where's Charlie? Where is Charlie Kirk? Because he has done an incredible job. Thank you very much, Charlie. But young Americans like you are leading the revival of American liberty, sovereignty, and self-determination in the face of left-wing intolerance. The anger—the unbelievable anger—I see it every day. Fortunately, for you, it's mostly pointed at me. [Laughter] You have the courage to speak the truth, to do what is right, and to fight for what you believe, and keep doing it. We reject oppressive speech codes, censorship, political correctness, and every other attempt by the hard left to stop people from challenging ridiculous and dangerous ideas.

Towards a Horizon of Palestinian Freedom - Seen Journal
December 13, 2023 - Protestors voiced countless chants, and our favorite one goes: “We don’t want your two states; we remember forty-eight.” Amidst the reverberations, a Zionist counter-protester retorted: “What exactly do you remember?” His intention, presumably, was to question the veracity of intergenerational memory of the Nakba, or catastrophe of 1948, passed down across generations of Palestinians in fragments of stories, narratives, and accounts of life before the originary dispossession.

April 17, 2024 - Constantly having to worry over potential revolutions and assassination plots, keeping a lid on the crazies, trying to do economic development, etc? At the minimum you are looking at maybe forty years (more like sixty) to get the situation to a point where you can then relax and you need someone in their 30s at a minimum to be mature enough for all that.

February 16, 2025 - None of this will happen overnight, and yes, there are plenty of entrenched interests who want to protect the status quo. But the jobs we’ll create, the money we’ll save, and the planet we’ll preserve—that’s the kind of future our kids and grandkids deserve. Climate change is just one of many issues where our security is linked to the rest of the world. And that’s why the third big question we have to answer is how to keep America safe and strong without either isolating ourselves or trying to nation-build everywhere there’s a problem. I told you earlier all the talk of America’s economic decline is political hot air. Well, so is all the rhetoric you hear about our enemies getting stronger and America getting weaker. The United States of America is the most powerful nation on Earth. Period. It’s not even close. We spend more on our military than the next eight nations combined.

Let's take a boat to Bermuda Let's take a plane to Saint Paul Let's grab a kayak to Quincy or Nyack Let's get away from it all Let's take a trip in a trailer No need to come back at all Let's take a powder to Boston for chowder Let's get away from it all We'll travel 'round from town to town We'll visit every state I'll repeat, I love you sweet In all the forty eight Let's go again to Niagara This time we'll peek at the fall Let's leave our hut, dear Get out of our rut, dear Let's get away from it all We'll travel 'round from town to town We'll visit every state And I'll repeat, I love you swe

George Packer: The Four Americas - The Atlantic
August 1, 2023 - I don’t much want to live in the republic of any of them. It’s common these days to hear people talk about sick America, dying America, the end of America. The same kinds of things were said in 1861, in 1893, in 1933, and in 1968. The sickness, the death, is always a moral condition. Maybe this comes from our Puritan heritage. If we are dying, it can’t be from natural causes. It must be a prolonged act of suicide, which is a form of murder. I don’t think we are dying. We have no choice but to live together—we’re quarantined as fellow citizens. Knowing who we are lets us see what kinds of change are possible. Countries are not social-science experiments.
