4 days ago - Greece’s armed forces general staff (GEETHA) said senior military officials from the three countries signed a joint action plan for defense cooperation last week in Cyprus. It gave no further details. The IDF on Sunday announced the trilateral deal, saying it would include bilateral work plans between the IDF, Greece’s Hellenic Armed Forces, and the Cypriot National Guard, as well as joint exercises and training, working groups across a range of fields and strategic military dialogue on shared security challenges. Israel’s military said Sunday that the newly signed plans were intended to bolster “stability, security and peace in the Eastern Mediterranean region.”
