Do you? I've got a moderately nasty cold at the moment and have had for a few days now. I find that a dram or two of whiskey really helps take the edge off all the symptoms for a couple hours. Of course I don't mix it with medications and I always make sure I stay well-hydrated. Since my nose is a bit plugged up (though not that bad), I don't drink any of the good stuff, but stick with the cheaper standard offerings.
Anyway, I'm just curious if you guys take a break completely while sick or what.

I know you said you don't drink while taking medications, but I gotta emphasize: Don't drink while taking Tylenol! That stuff is hard enough on your liver on its own, adding booze can really mess you up.
