Frank green was original owner and appears to have been behind a lot of the furniture and room design. I think he came from ' new money ' wealth & an industrial background and to raise his profile invited the then Prince Of Wales to the house. The house itself is very interesting and the haunted room is definitely worth a visit .

This place wasn't even in our guide books but was a great place to visit. Said to be the most haunted house in England it really fit the bill. In addition to the English Ghosts upstairs there have been numerous sightings of Roman Ghosts in the ancient basement.
