June 13, 2025 - A spokesperson confirmed the incident happened on the Carnival Sunrise and told USA TODAY, "Those involved will not sail on Carnival Cruise Line again." In April, 24 Carnival passengers were banned after getting into a fight while disembarking the Carnival Jubilee. Other Carnival guests have been banned for fights on other ships in recent years.

These type of incidents I’ve noticed happen on cruises leaving out of Florida or New York mainly Miami and involve durations under 7 days (booze cruises). I personally choose 10+ day long not to avoid these incidents but because I don’t consider it a vacation if it’s shorter than a week. ...
