Is it possible to bind a paperback into a turtleback to reinforce the cover?
i've been looking online at some hardcovers and keep coming across "turtleback" binding I was wondering what the difference was example of what i was looking at:

can someone explain the difference between turtleback and normal hardback binding?
Turtleback is a company that produces library-specific hardcover editions of books. Typically, they look like crap, but are meant to withstand tons and tons of uses. I'd suggest not buying them.
I work at a book store that does bulk orders for libraries and stuff. Trust me. You don't want Turtleback editions unless you're loaning the book out to the entire world.
thanks
