The media seems to be at a lack of details on this. Hankison fired 10 shots, not striking or harming anybody, and was just federally convicted of violating Taylor’s civil rights. What made Hankison case different from the others? Why was he charged+convicted and the others let off/not charged? They all returned fire after Walker (rightfully) tried to defend his property from what he believed to be intruders.
Edit: in addition, why is it a civil rights charge at all? As far as I’m aware, all the shots were fired in the dark.
