[FIXED] I'm screwed. A good friend has this Macbook pro 2011 13" and I've tried anything to make it run photoshop. She came to me with Sierra on it and creative cloud with all the apps working (she does media) and -later on- asked to help and fix some bugs (relating photoshop as well). By the way, I'm no simp. I'm just a regular, rather quirky, IT guy who wouldn't screw up like this when not that nervously losing my natural habitat sometimes.
She just wanted to clean her pc and make everything work better. I wiped the disks and reinstalled the OS via recovery mode. Which upgraded the whole thing to High Sierra. Now I kinda feel bad for having this on my hands and for her not being able to do school or buy a new pc.
I've looked everywhere for solutions, but still unsure. I tried downgrading, just by downloading the Sierra image and install that, that would not cut it. I then was making a bootable USB with El Capitain to upgrade from there to Sierra and hope that Photoshop works. I'm just wondering if there are any other solutions for her pc. Everywhere I go it's officially not possible, but there got to be an unofficial way right? I mean it ran when she got it (she installed it herself). Isn't there a way to revert to those good times before she starts to hates me for it?
Btw, the "About This Mac" says it's a 2011 model, but when checking the serial online it says it's mid-2012. I guess it's the 2011
