Can someone help me try to understand the Beelzebub timeline? I didn´t play the GBVS game, but from what I understand that happen in an alternative universe right? But Long Live the King storyline and Towere of Babyl storyline both seem to follow the GBVS storyline of Bubz. Can someone explain to me how that mess works? I am very confused. Is GBVS canon in the gacha game?

Versus' story is its own mess and isn't coherent enough to be taken into account for anything. It's not a matter of being complex, it's just so poorly written it's incoherent. Beelzebub in Granblue Fantasy is simple though: - He was crippled by an Otherworldly Being and forced to join Lucilius to save his life. (Flashback in Chaos Returns: Dawn) - Later he was defeated by Lucifer during Lucilius' rebellion and cast down into the Crimson Horizon. (Flashbacks in WMtSB3) - He returned and teamed up with Belial in the modern day (WMtSB2) but was ultimately crippled by Lucilius and sealed in Pandemonium by Cagliostro (WMtSB3). - He broke out of that seal an unknown amount of time later and fought Sandalphon and the MC only to be defeated again and cast to the bottom of the sky, but not before he set Pandemonium to crash, which forced the Speakers to blow it up. (Chaos Returns: Dusk) - It turned out that he faked his fall in Chaos Returns and actually retreated to the top of the Tower of Babyl, which formed out of Pandemonium's remnants and the Chaos that leaked into the world with its destruction. (Tower of Babyl intro) And that's where he is at the moment in the mobage's story.

It's actually pretty simple. Bubz appearances are as follows: What Makes the Sky Blue 2. What Makes the Sky Blue 3. Long Live The King. Towe of Babyl. All in that order, with no real discrepancy in continuity. GBVS does not really seem to fit in the timeline presented in the gacha game, so its canon status is pretty questionable.

SSR Character Discussion: Cagliostro (Grand)

The founder of alchemy travels the skies as she brings perfection to new heights. Her achievements are certainly fruits of her talent and hard work; however, they are also proof of the support she has received from a nameless ally whose contributions have been omitted from recorded history. Still, the founder continues to harbor gratitude for her friend, never to forget.

September 18, 2021 -

One of my habits is to always check gbf tier list every time new characters being release. But today, a question popped out of my head. Out of all (including npc if you want to), according to main story, side story, fate episode, etc., who is one the strongest character in the entire Skydoms that you know. We can exclude Eternal and Evoker if you want. But if you want to include Eternal, only use their 4* form only as their appeared in side story in their original form. (sorry for my bad english)

A snake biting it's tail is a symbol of eternity itself. Surely, the ouroboros principle and alchemy can be fused together right?

Warping on in as our next character for discussion, here comes the founder of alchemy in the skies, Cagliostro! Whom I... Have a interesting thought process about. I quite adore the story told through the character. Avoiding death at every turn by using alchemy, creating new bodies to live in. And despite their massive ego the size of the very sky they live in, they are very insightful and can very much back up all that talk. Can't say I adore it, but I can't say I hate it.

Gameplay wise? Yeeea not my cup of tea if you been reading theses. A lot of set play is what Cagi does, traps everywhere, sudden spear and projectiles ahoy. If you play the alchemist's game, you will have it rough. And that DP is just.. Oorf. I don't like dealing with it! Still, I can't deny their plays are very fun to watch.

But what do YOU think of cagi? Is she a massively fun, smart bomb of big brain moments to play? Or is she just an annoying gremlin who really should stop warping all the time? Are wild Cagliostro rare in the wild? Let your thoughts fly free in the comments, sky alchemists!

It's so hot here that I'd rather do this than think about the heat. I've got a tub of ice cream and a yogurt drink in front of me right now :')

--------------

A legendary monster that appeared in Europe in the 18th century.

A great magician who worked behind the scenes of French society on the eve of the revolution, or a rare genius of a scammer.

Although he acted like a noble prince, he provided free treatment in the slums, and was praised by the people in turn.

Although he was arrested as the mastermind behind the "Affair of the Diamond Necklace", the biggest scandal of the century that also involved the Queen of France Marie Antoinette, he was released and received great praise from the citizens.

In Paris, on the eve of the revolution, he was a true hero that toyed with the nobility and saved the needy.

--------------

Bond 1

--------------

Height/Weight: 188cm/85kg

Source: Historical Fact, "The Queen's Necklace" by Dumas, etc.

Region: Europe

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Attribute: Man

Gender: Male

Dumas the Greater describes him in the story as a "Dark Hero"-esque figure, similar to the Cave King. If you point this out, Cagliostro will smile, but the Cave King will be disgusted.

The flames he manipulates are phantom flames, and are a type of mental attack. It is less effective against opponents who do not have a mind. It also works on machines if they have any kind of "circuit".

--------------

Bond 2

--------------

Although he was released from the Bastille prison, Count Cagliostro was ordered to be exiled.

Viewed as an enemy by the aristocracy and by the church, he was eventually captured in Rome.

He was found guilty of being "part of an international conspiracy to topple European dynasties" as well as "heretical speech and behavior" and was thus sentenced to life in prison.

There is no hero named "Cagliostro".

The person that the aristocrats of the time discovered was the pathetic master scammer Giuseppe Balsamo, and that was his true identity.

They say that...

No. Not only Cagliostro, but Giuseppe Balsamo as well was a fake. A false image created by the aristocracy who were afraid of the signs of the coming revolution, in order to bring down the heroes in the public eye.

The true identity of Count Cagliostro was----

A magician who manipulated the mysteries hidden in the shadows of the world.

--------------

Bond 3

--------------

....But that's not true either.

In all honesty, he's not even a magician.

Although he possesses knowledge of many mysteries, he has only mastered one. A magic seal that brings about eternal youth and super regeneration.

He never caused an uproar in the world by manipulating magic.

He used a great deal of knowledge and skill to control people's hearts and gained great renown by pretending to be a fictional character called "Alessandro di Cagliostro".

----Or so this work has determined.

A mysterious character who changes his way of being in the moment.

In fact, he may not even have a "true identity". A person who knew him when he was alive has said that he was referred to as "Hollow.” (credit to u/UdonSamurai for the TL help)

Diversion Tactic: EX - Cagliostro brilliantly disguises his existence.

He can disguise not just his class, but his abilities as well. If a luck check is succeeded after spending a certain amount of time, the opponent will believe that he is on their side.

The enemy can resist this check, but as it is not a magical effect, anti-magic skills will not apply.

For I Am Asherath: EX - This is not a method of practicing alchemy, astrology, necromancy, the mysteries of Kabbalah, the mysteries of Ancient Egypt, etc.

The true nature of this skill is deception. It is an extraordinary technique of deception that can even be called a supernatural skill, taking advantage of royalty and aristocracy, and dazzling even the average magician.

--------------

Bond 5 and clearing Ordeal Call 2 - Irreversible Trash Heap: Id

--------------

Article Casting (False): EX - A skill that sublimates the legends surrounding the "Affair of the Diamond Necklace".

That's a lie, of course.

In order to accomplish his schemes, he creates the necessary items himself. It is an altered Item Construction skill, particularly adept at producing counterfeits and modifying and adjusting existing specs.

This is also the skill that was used to adjust the fragments of the "Alien God" and the soulless vessel (Olga Marie) into becoming a "Mechanical Avenger" (this doesn't mean that it was created by simply assembling the fragments. Rather, I made minor adjustments to the divine fragments I discovered so they could each work independently of each other.)

Hero's Archenemy (False): E++ - A skill that shows that he is a great enemy that stands in the way of heroes (or anti-heroes).

Normally, it is a hidden skill often possessed by magical beasts, dragons, demonic beings, and anti-heroes, but this is not the case for the (False) version of the skill.

Cagliostro had a deep connection with the Cave King, and the numerous conflicts between them were not recorded in history.

Because of this, he recognizes himself as "The Cave King's Archenemy" and acquired this skill.

(The fact that he was able to ensnare Marie Antoinette also seems to have been a factor in his acquisition of this skill.)

Althotas Continuum: C - There is one truly mysterious thing about him.

The secret technique of Althotas, the alchemist who was his childhood teacher, is the embodiment of immortality.

Well, it's actually immortality (agelessness) and super regeneration. Not true immortality.

--------------

Bond 5 and clearing Ordeal Call 2 - Irreversible Trash Heap: Id

--------------

Death to Order, Chaos to the World

Rank: B-EX Type: Anti-City/Chaos
Range: 1-50 Targets: 500 people

Ribellione Au Mondo.

A whirlpool of magical power sweeps through the surrounding area, accompanied by an illusion of the flames of revolution.

The embodiment of a spirit whose mission is destruction and rebirth, and the imitation of mental landscapes. Similar to a Reality Marble, but different, and accompanied by a special attack against Lawful targets.

The true power of this Noble Phantasm lies in the "destruction of order". While it is by no means permanent, it twists the concept of order to an unsightful degree. Laws, ethics, norms --- sometimes even the rules of the Holy Grail War can be temporarily rewritten.

However, this strength is not used to its fullest in this work. Additionally, in order to operate at its greatest scale and effectiveness, it requires a long period of preparation, behind-the-scenes operations, and resource investment.

--------------

Bond 5 and clearing Ordeal Call 2 - Irreversible Trash Heap: Id

--------------

In Ordeal Call 2, he acts as the final apostle of the alien world. He transformed into the Final Apostle, Cagliostro the Count of Despair, and plotted to kill the Master of Chaldea, but was defeated and expelled by the Avengers and the Master.

He claims to have an immortal body, and it is true that he has an immortal body and extremely powerful regenerative ability, but... in Ordeal Call 2, the immortality he displays of "resurrecting even when one's head is cut off" is an exception to that.

In Ordeal Call 2, when he was invited by Limbo to participate in the "Imperial Holy Grail War" (pretending to be a Caster) in the Heian-kyo Singularity/Subspecies Lostbelt, his saint graph and spirit core were tampered with by Limbo. This turned him into a form of "malignant information" that is even more difficult to kill and even more likely to spread. (Since this tampering resulted in the irreversible dissolution of his saint graph, the Heian-kyo Holy Grail seems to have determined that "Servant Cagliostro was destroyed by Limbo".)

Cagliostro, as malignant information, infiltrated the Master of Chaldea's mind when they came first came into contact with Limbo and the "fragment body". Perhaps because it was malignant information based on Limbo's shikigami, it seems that occasionally the "nature of the shikigami Limbo mixed in with the saint graph" would come out. The change in his manner of speaking was obvious, but in the end, a five pointed star (Domanban) appeared on his forehead as well.1

Queen's Necklace

"I was caught up in that strange whirlpool of fate that revolved around this necklace, and even got a taste of the darkness of jail, but...

Please, take a good look at this dazzling beauty.

I thought about my fate and the royal family, but that's all in the past now. There's nothing else to say. Right now, all I can do is squint my eyes at this brightness."

(Count Cagliostro speaking in Chaldea)

-------------------------------------------------------

[1] A "Doumanban" is a riff off of Seimei's "Seiman", or the Seal of Abe-no-Seimei. It's, you guessed it, a five pointed star. lol. Douman's symbol was actually more of a lattice.

Since the new upcoming event it's going to talk about something related to 400 years ago i went to look around the internet to see if anyone ever did a proper timeline with all the dates that we know but there doesn't seem to be a proper comprhensive timeline, i remember seeing a pretty good one on an user page on the wiki but i was not able to find it anymore

I'll list below what i was able to find feel free to leave comments with more dates that i might have overseen/missed out (i remember thewew was something around 2500 years ago but i don't remember what)

  • 3billion years ago: Phoenix is born

  • 70k years ago: the wardant is born and a technologically advanced humanity takes a heavy toll cause of abominations and self inflicted destruction

  • 20k years ago: possible date of the exodus on the moon

  • 20k?? some time later?? (unclear but hinted) miasma spreads accross the land, who remains on earth turn into otherworlders -> crimson horizon

  • 7k years ago: the Omnipotent comes to be (how we don't know) it gets cloned and one gets placed in Estalucia(when was estalucia created?) the other comes from the sky Moon and separates the crimson horizon from the untainted land creating the sky realm with big floating continents. The Moon starts the war with the weird creatures, self regen is perfected and automagods prototypes are made

  • 6k years ago: the rebellion against the omnipotent split him in two fragmenting the sky realm in small islands and archipelagos and creating the Astral realm

  • 2k years ago: The astral invasion begins and so does the creation of primal beasts, Lyria is made and the astral gos takes her semblance, Cagliostro invents alchemy and the Fallen angel rebellion happens

  • 1k years ago: a group of moondwellers came to the sky for unknown reasons, either to study the fossildwellers or for curiousity, they were left on the planet. Yatima was implied to be among them but her mission was cut a few centuries short, she came after the astral arrival but it's unclear when.

  • 800 years ago: disasters were caused by violet clouds

  • 700 years ago:?? the war with the astrals begins??

  • 500 years ago: skydwellers successfully chase away the astrals also thanks to the creation of the Dharma labyrinth

  • 400 years ago: Agartha disappears from the skies engulfed by the "dead sky" speculated to be connected with the Grim Basin

  • 300 years ago: the first monscians appear

  • 200 years ago: Neutronon's corpse is made into a communication device

  • 100 years ago: discontinuation of the divine horse and creation of joya

  • 60 years ago circa: the society was created by Yatima and a young adult Alandus, along side others like Guzaletha, to oppose the foe.

  • Between 25 to 35 years ago: (estimated guess based on rein's age in versus): danchou's parents start their journey, with vyrn, to save rein's sister from the true king, and do sky god's will. (Rosetta, Noah and Walfrid are present)

  • 15 years ago :(at the start of the game): lyria is found and hidden by danchou's father who refuses to hand Vyrn to the sky god and seal his about their journey , the singularity is born and rein is turned into a vessel for versusia.

  • 10 years ago: fall of the erste kingdom, byleistr and queen viola die, orchis is turned into a doll through unknown means, the Este Empire is established

  • 5 years ago: destruction of the thorid kingdom implied

I assume a lot of the winged characters are up there and based on design I assume Beelzebub, Belial, Lucilius, Versusia and Sandalphon are top tier (I would assume Nier cause of Death too).

Can anyone who knows the lore tell me?

Gran and Djeeta because theyre the protagonists of the mobile game and as Singularities can basically have the potential to rewrite reality.

Gran/Djeeta but given the moveset probably Djeeta as she represents the whale/veteran players. Given versus seems to branch off somewhere around arc 2-3 on the captain isn't that strong at this current stage but who knows we don't know which events are canon for versus captain. Sandalphon - Supreme coffee Primarch, oversees all angel primals and maintains world balance, also main factor to beating Belial, Bubs and Lucilius. Not afraid of fighting world ending threats but is very afraid of Cerberus. Versusia Beelzebub - an actual astral, lorewise astrals are very strong, in reality man has become somewhat of a meme. Lucilius - The main big bad of the astrals who started making all these primals (mainly in charge of making all the Angels including Sandalphon). Cagliostro - Astrals fear her the most out of all Skydwellers, and this was back during the War (lots of strong folks) let that sink in. Wilnas and Galleon - These are upcoming but both are what are called wedges. I can't recall if versus covers the other 4 main archangels but those 4 were made to oversee/control the elements for the Astrals given angels are primals. These two are the original ones in charge of these elements made by God himself. Lore wise both are incredibly strong. Galleon is capable of creating entire islands on demand and Wilnas... well... here's the
