2021 Domaine de Vaccelli, Granit Rouge, Ajaccio - This is a delicious Corsican red wine made from Sciaccarellu vines over 50 years old planted on granite in the Ajaccio appellation (Southwest corner of the island).  Super silky tannins, refined, layered red fruit and minerality. I could drink this all day long! Elevage done in eggs here – super harmonious cuvee – there’s a reason they call Sciaccarellu the “Corsican Pinot Noir.” World class wine and a really tough glass to put down!
