Islam’s Theological Contradictions | Set Free Seminars
This flies in the face with the scores of changed passages, blatant textual distortions, historical denials and fallacious arguments in the Qur’an that try to destroy both the Jewish and Christian scriptures and beliefs. The Qur’ans claims of continuity are also in direct conflict with the Qur’an’s other claim that the Christians and Jews have corrupted their own scriptures (Q 2:75, Q 6:91, Q 4:46, Q 5:13-15) by deleting all references to him and his beliefs.

The scriptures of Islam contradict one another
If the Quran were truly revealed by God, it should be infallible and make zero incorrect statements. I don't want to do a whataboutism, but then this should also apply to the Bible, yes? Again, not trying to derail. The issue for me though is, whatever standards you apply to the Quran, you should also apply to the Bible. So to me, this argument makes more sense as a comparison between the two, rather than just looking at one. But I also understand if you want to keep this to just the Quran. The most contradictory claim made by the Quran is that Jesus is not God. Ooh this is interesting, because Ehrman's view is that Jesus did not see himself as god. John 8:58-59, “Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I Am.” Right. So here's the big point: lets say this is true. Lets say Jesus really went around saying things like that, and people heard him say it and he explicitly called himself god a bunch. Why wouldn't the other gospels mention it? It would seem like this is the most important thing to say. Right? If you're going to say anything about Jesus, you'd want to write down that he claimed to be god like this. This seems to fit better with a view that, at time went on, Jesus became more and more divine. Now, if you’re like many other Muslims I’ve spoken to, you may say “that’s impossible,” but in doing so you would be doubting the ability of God to do all things, including those things which are impossible. Well that certainly is a question, many view god as being able to do anything that's logically possible. Others I guess have no issue saying that god is not constrained by logic. I think in terms of reasoning and debate, its hard to talk about the idea that there's a god who's not constrained by logic. How do we use reason to arrive at any conclusions if the person you're talking to doesn't believe that reason must be respected? It can be broken whenever. So I don't know how anyone can argue or debate or anything at that point. To be super fair here, I'm not really defending the Quran at all. So if this feels like I'm taking you a different direction, let me know tht I'm off topic. I definitely don't know anything about the Quran. More on reddit.com

Why is Christianity the right way and not Islam
Because Islam requires you to believe things that are demonstrably false about Christian and Jewish scripture. That may not make Christianity true, but Islam can’t be. Live not by lies. More on reddit.com

What’s the difference between Islam and Christianity?

muslims do not believe in the central truth of Christianity, that Jesus is the son of God. Without that central truth there is no salvation.

Definitively Different: 3 Irreconcilable Differences Between Christianity and Islam | ABWE
December 3, 2024 - The doctrine of revelation within Islam teaches that the Qur’an offers guidance to those seeking to follow God’s will. While it claims to reveal God’s will, it does not claim to reveal God himself. This stands in sharp contrast to Christian theology which sees in Christ the revelation of God himself (John 1:14–18).

August 29, 2024 - All I say here is that if I asked many Christians “Is God one of three?” they would say “No”. Other refutations of the teachings of some Christians can be found in the Quran, but equally some Christians will claim that those verses don’t apply to their variety of Christianity.

16 hours ago - Almost all Christians believe that Jesus was the incarnated Son of God, divine, and sinless. Islam teaches that Jesus was the penultimate and one of the most important prophets of God, but not the Son of God, not divine, and not part of the Trinity.

But the major objection lodged by Islam against the Christian concept of God concerns the doctrine of the Trinity. In particular Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and shares the same divine nature with God the Father.

Islam And Christianity : A Comparison
By the way, Muslims, in affirming the eternity of the Qur'an, face a theological problem that is directly analogous to the one faced by Christians who affirm that Christ is the Word, existing from all eternity. Muslims ask us how we Christians can say that there is One God, who alone is eternal, and yet claim that Christ existed from all eternity.

January 8, 2026 - It denies Christianity at the center. The disagreement is not cosmetic. It reaches down to the deepest questions of reality: who God is, who Jesus is, how sinners are made right, and what authority governs belief. A god who denies the Son is not the God who has spoken in Scripture. Islam speaks respectfully of Jesus, but respect alone does not make a claim true.

Christian Views of Islam - St Andrews Encyclopaedia of Theology
June 6, 2024 - This article outlines Christian thinking about Islam as it has developed over the centuries, in different contexts and in different regions of the world, focusing initially on the four main interpretations which emerged in the early medieval period: Islam as fulfilment of God’s promise to Abraham; Islam as God’s judgment on an erring Christian church; Islam as a Christian heresy; and Islam as ‘the Antichrist’. The article then outlines the further elaboration of these views in the later medieval era, in both the East (debate and exchange), and the West (crusade, study, and mission).

What Do Muslims, Jews, and Christians Have in Common? by Don Stewart
June 9, 2020 - For the Jews it is the Old Testament, for the Christians the Old and New Testament, and for Islam the Old Testament, the New Testament, and the Quran. Because each of these religions has a different source of authority, we find that each of these three religions has beliefs and practices that are contradictory to the other two. In other words, at least two out of the three must be wrong. Indeed, there is no way to reconcile them. Any attempt to reconcile them does not take their claims seriously.
