I have two, but they are from a family friend who lives there. Story 1: Our Family friend and his son were riding jet skis on the river and were looking for a place to beach and grab a quick snack. They find a small island and decide to walk inland a little bit for a decent spot. As they walk further in, they keep hearing a crunching noise that slowly builds up as they go. Their curiosity finally gets the better of them and they decide to dig around where they were walking. They end up finding TONS of bones. Some were human and some were from various animals. They instantly pack up, run back to their jet skis, and fly back to their dock. Shortly afterward they contacted the local police, but the police just laughed at them. The police end up telling them that they found a bone island and to steer clear of them. Apparently the local voodoo groups use these islands. It's worth noting that voodoo can be used for good or bad, but it's best not to test your luck in such situations. Story 2: Our family friend moved to a new home in Savannah GA. The house was old and definitely needed some work. During the entirety of construction, weird things would happen that spooked the workers. Things like radios turning on with no power or suddenly changing channels. Tools would be moved around or go missing entirely only to show back up a short time later in their original spots. The workers would claim to hear the voices of their buddies or boss from one part of the house only to find they were in a completely different area. Fast forward a few months after the work was done. Their son, who was a straight A student, suddenly started performing very poorly in school. According to his teachers, he struggled to stay awake in class and slept for most of the day. Eventually things built up to the point of the parents meeting with the teachers to figure out what was going on. In the meeting, their son tells them that an old lady sits at the edge of his bed every night and stares at him. She never showed ill intent, she would simply stare at him. He didn't sleep well at all during this time and he was too scared to say anything about it. They are very religious people and ended up going to their preacher for advice. The preacher told them that the parents need to sit with him in the room and they all need to directly address the spirit. That night the parents sat on the bed with him and they all told the spirit that it needs to move on, leave them in peace, and it is no longer welcome there. Shortly after, there were no more issues and the sons grades improved. Note: For those who don't know, Savannah GA is a rather interesting place when it comes to the paranormal. The town has a very dark history of yellow fever, piracy, and voodoo to name a few things. Idk how much of it I believe in, but it was definitely a surreal experience to explore the history and spiritual culture of the area. Answer from Deleted User on reddit.com

I don't have a story, but wanted to ask people here who live there or been there, i know someone who claimed to have a lot of things happen at the Colonial Cemetery, at Forsyth park with the fountain, other cemeteries. Interested in stories from that city since it's often called the most haunted city in US.

I've been there at least 12 times in the list 10 years and went on a few ghost tours. The city itself is absolutely lovely, one of my favorites in America. I didn't experience anything paranormal, but I did feel uneasy at night wandering alone. The Bonaventure cemetery is pretty freaking cool too.

#3: The Mansion on Forsyth Park — Luba Lowry
May 30, 2021 - Yet, the truth is The Mansion on Forsyth Park is now part of The Kessler Collection of fabulous hotels and partnered with Marriott International. I can testify truthfully that I have been to its wonderful restaurant several times and enjoyed myself thoroughly each time. So, from my limited experience, I doubt any family curse follows this mansion around like a haunted spirit, despite being filled with a history of death that rides alongside like a hearse from a funeral home.
