There are a bunch of very essential apps that are unfortunately only available on mobile, most notoriously bank apps and bluetooth device apps. Some shopping apps only offer discounts and free shipping through the mobile app. I hate that so much. I hate having to rely on my phone for everything even though I use my PC most of the time. I tried bluestacks but it is a bit awful. I'm not looking to play games on it, I don't even have mobile games other than tetris and suika.

Liebe Leute,
ich versuche alles, was mit Finanzen zu tun hat, von meinem Smartphone zu verbannen, weil ich das alles nur am Computer machen möchte (Banking, Brokerage usw.). Oftmals ist aber eine 2FA per App die einzige Option. Per Zufall bin ich drauf gestoßen, dass es verschiedene Emulatoren gibt, um bspw. Android-Apps auf dem Computer zu nutzen. Gibt es da eine vernünftige Lösung, mit der das sinnvoll und möglichst sicher umsetzbar ist? Bzw. falls ihr die Hände über dem Kopf zusammenschlagt: was spricht dagegen? Vielen Dank!

Ich denke die meisten 2FA apps werden erkennen das sie in einem Emulator laufen und sich zumindest beschweren (genau wie bei gerooteten Telefonen) Wenn würde ich das auch nur mit dem Emulator von Android Studio testen, sprich dem der von Google kommt, bei allen anderen kannste halt nie davon ausgehen das die sicher sind. Ich glaube die wesentlich stressfreiere variante wäre ein zweites Smartphone (muss ja kein Top Modell sein) das zu Hause als TAN Generator dient. Alternativ nochmal bei der Bank fragen ob es wirklich keine andere Alternative gibt, oft haben die eine, machen halt nur keine Werbung dafür.

Lange antwort: Emulatoren sind eigentlich in allen Fällen unfassbar langsam, selbst auf einem einigermaßen schnellen OC fühlt sich der Android Emulator an wie ein Raspi der zweiten Generation. Die meisten zwei faktor Apps merken außerdem, wenn sie in einem Emulator laufen. Abgesehen führst du damit die komplette Idee von zwei Faktor Authentifizierung ad absurdum, aber die ist bei Banking Apps so oder so eher mittelmäßig gut umgesetzt. Meine Empfehlung wäre daher: Kauf dir ein günstiges Handy, dass du nur für so Zeug verwendest. N neues Nokia mit Android One kostet dich um die 150€, dafür bekommt es dank Android One deutlich schneller und länger Aktualisierungen
