Octagon Hall Museum is located just north of Franklin, KY. This antebellum, eight-sided, three-story brick home is only one of three brick octagonal homes remaining in the United States. It was constructed in 1847 and was built as the residence of the Andrew Jackson Caldwell family.
Paranormal
The Octagon Hall is widely regarded as one of the most haunted places in the South. Many of the stories of ghosts surrounding the property are associated with the Caldwell family, slaves, confederate and union soldiers.

If you like old houses, then you probably love history. Those two together create ghost stories, so if that’s the case, the Octagon house deserves a visit due to that. Be warned - the house supposedly has a charitable foundation that is trying but it’s not in good shape.
