I received mine in the mail two days ago. I bought it mainly for its 1990s aesthetic and because I'm a Mission Impossible fan. The green letters on it also bother me, as I've seen many pictures of this watch without them after some use. Some people even remove the letters using acetone and a cloth, perhaps indicating that they might fade over time.
About the band being uncomfortable, to me it's just as comfortable as the one in the DW-6900, haven't had any problems regarding that.
One disappointment was that, despite wearing it for just one day, I already noticed a small scratch on the display. Unlike a G-Shock, this watch's display seems more susceptible to scratches over time. I've used it similarly to my Gshock DW-6900, mostly at home, college, and the gym. Interestingly, my Gshock doesn't have a single scratch on its display, whereas with this watch, even wearing it for one day at home and during weightlifting at the gym, it got scratched. This is something worth considering. Maybe you should consider getting a display protector (much like a screen protector for phones) for this watch. I've seen one for sale on Amazon US, but since I'm in South America, it's harder to get one here, sadly.
Even though, to me, it's a really nice watch, with that design that screams 1990s futuristic style (which is something I like), and I'd still go for it! It's a really nice watch to wear!
