August 12, 2023 - Uley Long Barrow is a partially reconstructed Neolithic chambered mound. It is 37 metres long and overlooks the Severn Valley. It's known locally as Hetty Pegler's Tump, after Hester Pegler who owned the land in the 17th century.

Uley Long Barrow, also known as Hetty Pegler's Tump, is a Neolithic chambered long barrow. The barrow gained the name 'Hetty Pegler's Tump' after the 17th century owner of the field. It is built on level ground on top of Crawley Hill overlooking the Severn Valley.

March 24, 2016 - The DOE produced a short guide by L. V. Grinsell to the Neolithic chambered mound known as Hetty Pegler's Tump, at Uley in Gloucestershire. The mound is under state guardianship (English Heritage) - since 1883 - and is managed by Gloucestershire County Council.
