You have up to 30 weeks to do it (including the exam that you must schedule). You can certainly do it faster and it is definitely not a 30-week long course in terms of the amount it covers. The 30 weeks provides flexibility for students as many students take these courses part time, while working, etc. Generally the open learning courses come with a "suggested schedule" of 14-16 weeks, similar to a campus-based semester course. They cover the same amount of material as one campus-based course (3 credits).
