I took BIOM 3200 DE. I found that it was easy but a lot of textbook readings for only a few questions on the exam, however if you want a 90+ those textbook readings are necessary lol. I didn’t really like this course tbh, but it’s not too much work for 1.00. I heard Hk 2810/3810 is more comprehensive but I did great in anatomy with BIOM 3200 and am still eligible to apply to advanced study in anatomy.

No, you can take BIOM 3200 and still take anatomy. However they prioritize all HK students for dissection first, then biomed (depending on your average). I had anatomy this year and we only had prosection due to covid. While both are awesome, I hear prosection is easier to do better in since you don’t spend your labs dissecting but studying already dissected cadavers.

Most common second sem second year combo is NUTR 3210, MCB 2050, and your physiology course. Esp if you take BIOM 3200, I strongly recommend you do not take orgo with those courses, it will be too heavy. MCB 2050 and NUTR 3210 on their own are pretty difficult.
