September 5, 2025 -
The Libertyland USA project in Rapid City, South Dakota was originally planned at 300 acres, but was scaled down to 50 acres to make the project more financeable and year-round. The full-fledged theme park has been reduced to a Ferris Wheel, carousel, go-karts, mini golf, and possibly a Star Flyer. The complex will be mixed-use and include restaurants, entertainment, a hotel, and recently partnered with a developing sports complex. The goal is to break ground in the next 6 months.
