Well, I’ve passed 2 FTMO challenges and received payouts through them. Overall, I’ve made a very nice income this year from trading Forex. I’m in the process of building up a small account as I used the payouts for a house and truthfully I gambled my FTMO account away basically because I wanted to get enough money in December to finish paying off my new home. Unsurprisingly that didn’t work out too well for me, but it’s nothing to pass another challenge I just dislike all of the different rules and restrictions they have hence the small account. I tried to mentor a few people, but they weren’t implementing what I was teaching and tried to continue to do their own thing and then they would come to me for advice because they’re about to lose their entire account. So I don’t do that anymore, plus it’s not really worth my time no matter how much someone pays me for a mentorship because I can make a trade (not have to deal with anybody) and within a few hours I’ve made a few grand. The reason I’m saying all of this is because the people who actually make money trading aren’t on YouTube/Insta (for the most part) you’ve never heard their name before and wouldn’t even think that trading is their main source of income. They’re on YouTube for a reason, they’re selling courses for a reason, and that reason is because they can’t make (consistent or good) money trading. Like honestly, if I can make $10,000 in a day from trading vs. spending a week to put together a YouTube video which might yield me $1,000 at most (and that’s generous for a lot of trading channels) why would I even bother spending my time putting together that video? I wouldn’t. Neither would you if you were making money.
