inb4 "any comments on the camera?" - I just got it in the mail today, but I took it for a walk around campus to get a feel for it. It's lightweight but feels pretty premium, got a nice metal shell that, while scratched up, makes me feel confident in it's construction. The lens is fixed focus which is fine, the smaller negative means you can get away with a lot in regards to depth of field, and it's just one less thing to think about while shooting. The aperture and shutter controls are on concentric dials which are both easy to turn, and it's also got an aperture priority mode which I've not tried so far. The viewfinder is fairly bright but unremarkable - the framelines are just printed on a piece of glass which is currently crooked, but I'll crack it open and clean the whole thing out after I finish the film it came loaded with. I'm not expecting this to be a camera that I'll create great art with, and the 18 shot magazine means it's not a spray and pray camera like a half frame 35mm either. Despite all that, though, it's miniscule size, fixed focus lens, and CdS auto exposure make it a pretty neat novelty for $20. I figure I'll take it around on walks here and there - why not? Minolta 16 - My Many Muses
January 2, 2026 - Alas, as Tomas said, this doesn’t work. 110 film is preprinted at the factory with frame markings, and since the Minolta 16 uses different frame spacing and (I think) uses more of the film profile than 110 cameras do, those markings will appear superimposed over your photos.

Dimensions of Minolta 16 film cassette
I just bought myself a Minolta 16 MG and waiting for it to arrive. Sadly it doesn't have any film cassettes with it so I'm thinking of designing and 3d print my own. So I'm looking for some good pictures and dimensions of the cassette just to get started. Anyone who can help me out? More on photrio.com

Hi All, I found my silver Minolta 16MG when I was searching for something else in one of my studio boxes. I used this camera on my honeymoon twenty years ago, and it has sentimental value. My late Uncle purchased it a PX in Vietnam, and it was gifted to me in his estate. I've decided to get... More on photrio.com

Since the horizontal opening is already 14mm then the very most it could be opened is 2mm, if that. In a Minolta 16 film cartridge the space between the feed and take up is 21mm so that space allowed Minolta to have a horizontal opening of 17mm in the QT and MG-s for the larger 12X17 frame ... May 12, 2022 - I picked up some extra cartridges from FPP and a film splitter from a guy in Colorado two years ago. I get unperforated DoubleX that í shoot in mine at 200 or I’ll slit some FP4/TriX/Fomapan down from 120. I have two Minolta 16’s and they are pretty fun.

May 1, 2016 - I also just got a Minolta 16 II on ebay for $4 that I bought mostly because it had the cartridge inside, but now that I have that one, I like it better. It is loaded up now and ready to try. It has a full range of shutter and aperture and sub-mini states that the lens in the Minolta II rivals the minox, as it is a 4 element design.

Induced Electric Field Processing of Watermelon Juice: Effects on Microbial Inactivation, Physicochemical Stability, and Flavor Retention During Refrigerated Storage
April 19, 2026 - Color parameters (L*, a*, b*) were measured using a colorimeter (CR-400, Konica Minolta, Tokyo, Japan) calibrated with a white standard tile. L* indicates lightness (0 = black, 100 = white), a* indicates red–green chromaticity (+a* = red, −a* = green), and b* indicates yellow–blue chromaticity (+b* = yellow, −b* = blue). The total color difference (ΔE) was calculated relative to the untreated day-0 sample: ... Total sugar content was determined using the 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid (DNS) method [16]. An aliquot of watermelon juice (1 mL) was mixed with 15 mL of distilled water and 10 mL of 6 M HCl, then hydrolyzed in a boiling water bath for 30 min.

December 10, 2020 - Correct, the 16 MG is the same 10x14 frame as the 16, 16II, and 16P (the plastic "chocolate bar" model). MGs was essentially just a frame size upgrade on the MG -- same operation, same capability, but 12x17 instead of 10x14.
