Imagine riding your motorcycle all the way from Mumbai, India → London → Cape Town… only to have it vanish overnight.
That’s exactly what happened to my friend Yogesh (@roaming_wheeels) — an overlander and world record traveller. On 28th August 2025, his 2025 KTM 390 Adventure was stolen in Nottingham, UK, along with all his luggage, passport, and clothes.

This isn’t just a bike — it’s his entire journey, his dream, and years of preparation. Right now, everything hangs in the balance.
🙏 If anyone in or around Nottinghamshire spots the bike, hears anything, or has CCTV/contacts that might help — please step in. Even just sharing this post could make a huge difference.
Let’s try to turn this nightmare into the story of how a community came together to keep a dream alive. ❤️

An Indian motorcycling enthusiast on world tour from Mumbai, India has had his bike stolen from Nottingham, United Kingdom. His bike had all his documents, money, and entire gear for his tour. He is currently working to get a passport while figuring out other things.
If anyone from the UK or around can help him in anyway, kindly connect with him. Insta handle - roaming_wheeels
As bikers we might not know him personally, but we all know what he is trying to achieve which is still just a dream for many.
Please share with anyone who can help him.
Mr. Yogesh Alekari's KTM* bike was stolen from Nottingham area on 27th/28th August*. Please anyone local let me or the organizers in the below screenshot know about it.
I feel gutted for him. He was riding from India to UK.
Edit: It is a KTM bike and appears to be stolen on 27th or 28th August. I am still looking for more info. Some eyewitness has captured a video of the theft where it can be seen the scum pushing the bike with a moped.

I'm going to stay with my sister in England for a few months and I'm gonna buy a bike to keep over there. She's saying that if I buy a motorcycle it will 100% get stolen or vandalized. She lives in a small village near Luton. Is the crime really that bad there or is she just trying to deter me from getting a bike? She does not like motorcycles and does not want me to get one. I will most likely have to park it on the street or in a lot.
